For a one-time payment of $1 USD, HeroID generates a unique, AI-written superhero identity package including:

HeroID offers an optional Audiobook Add-on for an additional $3.99 USD (on top of the $1 base HeroID), available in English only at this time. If purchased, your child's 3-chapter story is converted to narrated audio using a third-party text-to-speech provider, in a narrator voice you choose. By purchasing the Audiobook Add-on, you acknowledge and agree that:

All stories, names, comic pages, and descriptions produced by HeroID are generated by artificial intelligence. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept that:
HeroID endeavours to keep all generated content child-appropriate, however we cannot guarantee the AI will never produce mildly unexpected phrasing. If you receive content you consider inappropriate, please contact us.
Names, characters, and story details are generated based on the information you provide and are intended purely as fictional entertainment. Any resemblance between generated content and any real person, living or deceased, other than the individual you intended to personalise the story for, is purely coincidental.

HeroID's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs when you sign in with Google adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum Google account data needed to authenticate you (your email address and account identifier) and never use it for advertising.
The HeroID name, logo, website design, and codebase are the intellectual property of HeroID™. The AI-generated content produced for your purchase is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may print, share, and enjoy your HeroID story freely, but may not resell or redistribute it commercially.
HeroID is a service designed to create stories for children, but it must be purchased and used by an adult aged 18 or older. By completing a purchase, you confirm that:
HeroID does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All interactions are intended to be completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has made a purchase without parental consent, please contact us immediately at support@heroid.app.
The child's first name and age entered during checkout are provided by the purchasing parent or guardian, not by the child, and are used solely to personalise the generated story. This information is not compiled into a profile of the child, is never used to market directly to the child, and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Parents may request deletion of this information at any time by contacting support@heroid.app, consistent with our obligations under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
HeroID is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeroID disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:
Your use of HeroID is entirely at your own risk. We make no promises about specific outcomes from the AI generation process.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HeroID and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: information you submit for story generation, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights) in connection with your use of the Service.
HeroID reserves the right to refuse service, remove or decline to generate content, and suspend or terminate access to accounts at our discretion, including where we believe:
Where reasonably possible we will notify the account holder of a suspension or termination. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prior non-refundable purchases.
Most concerns can be resolved by contacting support@heroid.app first, and we encourage you to do so before pursuing a formal claim. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you and HeroID agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of HeroID will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You and HeroID each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. This section does not prevent either party from bringing an individual claim in small claims court where eligible.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of HeroID shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
The testimonials, reviews, star ratings, names, and locations displayed on the HeroID website are illustrative examples and are not statements from real, verified customers. They were written to show the kind of experience HeroID is designed to deliver, and the people depicted in them are fictional. The product features referenced in these examples — personalised stories, mini comics, PDF download, and email delivery — are genuine features of the service, but no quote, rating, or review on our marketing pages should be read as a verified customer review. References in marketing copy to customer numbers or delivery times are approximations and may not reflect measured figures.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of HeroID after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
